Get started in three steps

  1. Install the app and open it.
  2. Sign in with your Claude Multi account. No account yet? Create one and pick a plan (from $5/month).
  3. Add your Claude accounts. Sign in to each one once. From then on the app switches between them for you.

Before you install

  • Node.js 18 or newer and the Claude Code CLI installed on your computer.
  • A Claude Pro, Max or Team subscription for each account you add. No API key needed.
  • Windows: if SmartScreen warns, click More info → Run anyway.
  • macOS: the first time, allow it in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway. Step by step.
  • Linux: run chmod +x Claude-Multi-*.AppImage first.

Opening Claude Multi on a Mac

The first time you open it, macOS says “Claude Multi” Not Opened, because the app isn’t notarized by Apple yet. The file is the one listed on this page, checksum included. You allow it once per version:

  1. Open the .dmg and drag Claude Multi into Applications.
  2. Open Claude Multi from Applications. When macOS shows the warning, click Done.
  3. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security and scroll down to Security. Next to “Claude Multi” was blocked, click Open Anyway, enter your Mac password and click Open.

Prefer Terminal? After step 1, run this once, then open the app normally:

xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine "/Applications/Claude Multi.app"
